• New Orleans Bowl: North Texas tries to prove that they really deserve to go to a bowl at 5-5 against Utah in the minor-conference show-off.
• GMAC Bowl: ECU faces off against Marshall in this entertaining early season game.
• Tangerine Bowl: Pittsburgh tries to prove their worth against NC State.
• Las Vegas Bowl: Lesser-known Utah faces off against USC.
• Seattle Bowl: It used to be the Aloha Bowl, but it moved from sunny Hawaii to dreary Seattle. However, Pac-10 and ACC heavyweights go at it in Safeco.
• Independence Bowl: LSU goes here if they lose to Auburn on December 1st...whatever the case, my money's on the SEC team.
• Galleryfurniture.com Bowl: Texas A&M goes in against a TCU team that barely squeaked in.
• Music City Bowl: BC and Georgia go at it in Nashville.
• Holiday Bowl: Washington: what could've been....both these teams had early Rose Bowl hopes but suffered key losses.
• Motor City Bowl: Battle of the Ohios.

• Insight.com Bowl: K-State did pretty well getting here, whereas Syracuse is miffed for being passed over.
• Jeep Bowl: was the Oahu Bowl, but either Jeep or ABC backed out or something.
• Humanitarian Bowl: Louisiana Tech vs. at-large Clemson battle it out on the BIG BLUE TURF!
• Sun Bowl: Washington State takes out their frustration against some Big 12 team, probably Iowa.
• Silicon Valley Classic: with the cancellation of the Jeep Bowl, Fresno State probably ends up here against Michigan State.
• Liberty Bowl: BYU's lack of schedule strength gets them here, to face Louisville which will either be close or a BYU blowout.
• Peach Bowl: I didn't think Auburn would get here after the LSU win in Atlanta, but they did anyway.
• Cotton Bowl: Oklahoma will probably destroy Arkansas.
• Outback Bowl: Ohio State matches up against SEC #3 South Carolina in ESPN's last game of the season.
• Gator Bowl: Florida State finds themselves in a non-BCS bowl for the first time since the BCS was introduced to find themselves playing their old foe Virginia Tech (who was picked above the #2 in the Big East, Syracuse).
• Citrus Bowl: Michigan and Tennesseee....what could've been.
• Fiesta Bowl: Oregon faces off against a spare Big 12 team (probably Texas or Nebraska) in this battle of wills out in the desert.
• Sugar Bowl: LSU upset Tennessee and finds themselves right at home against Big 10 champ Illinois.
• Orange Bowl: Surprising Maryland goes against traditional SEC powerhouse Florida.
• The Rose Bowl: Nebraska gets here (AND DESERVEDLY SO) to lose to Miami on December 3rd. I'll have an essay on the Nebraska thing later.
